Easy Cherry Chocolate Cake

This easy Cherry Chocolate Cake is moist and delicious. It starts with a chocolate pudding poke cake that’s topped with a layer of tart cherry filling, and a fluffy whipped cream frosting.

Ingredients

– Chocolate cake mix – Eggs – Vegetable oil – Instant chocolate pudding mix – Milk – Cherry pie filling – Whipped topping – Semi-sweet chocolate bar – Cherries

In a large mixing bowl, stir together the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil until moistened.

Step 1

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Step 2

In a large bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix and milk. Stir for two minutes, until smooth and thickened.

Step 3

Spread the chocolate pudding over the top of the cake, making sure to push it down into the holes.
