Air Fryer Green Beans

Print Recipe
Air Fryer Green Beans are a delicious, healthy side dish. They come out tender, yet crisp and flavorful in the air fryer. It's my favorite way to cook fresh green beans

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 pound fresh green beans cleaned and ends trimmed off

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Stir the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder together in a small bowl.
  • Add the green beans to a large bowl. Pour the olive oil mixture over the top of the green beans and toss until fully combined.
  • Add the green beans to the the air fryer basket in an even layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway through.

Notes

  • Preheat your air fryer. I like to preheat my air fryer for a few minutes before adding the food. This ensures that the proper temperature has been reached and that your air fryer green beans will cook up perfectly.
  • Shake the basket a few times. This will help to ensure even cooking and that all surfaces of your green beans get equally crispy.
  • Variations: this version uses a super simple seasoning blend, but feel free to cook your green beans with any other spices or blends you like.
  • How to store: Any leftover air fryer green beans can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
