Ingredients

  • 3 large onions
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 3 teaspoons seasoned salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 Tablespoons dried parsley flakes
  • 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  • In a large bowl whisk together eggs and milk. Add flour, sugar, baking powder, seasoned salt, black pepper, garlic powder, dried parsley flakes and bread crumbs.
  • Slice the onions 1/2 inch thick and separate the layers into rings.
  • Dip each ring into the batter and then place the ring on a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Flip the Homemade Baked Onion Rings over and then bake for 10 more minutes.
  • Serve immediately.
