I added a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the eggs and water. Just a bit more flavor.
Omg. The easiest recipe to make. I pay $18.00 a pound for these at Navy Pier in Chicago. I did only need to keep them in for 45 minutes instead of an hour. But other than that I followed the recipe exactly. I did use raw sugar large granular, instead of regular white sugar, as it stuck to the pecans perfectly and added a little extra crunch. Made it to serve for Easter Sunday tomorrow. Thank you.
Outstanding!
Delicious and simple! ย A real crowd pleaser!
A very good recipe for roasted pecans! We really loved it and I will make this again. Thank you for sharing your recipe with us!
great on salads!!!
These are awesome! Added more cinnamon and a touch of red pepper.
Such an easy, delicious recipe. And it has been a no fail for me every time! I love making these around the holidays! Definitely a 5 star recipe. Thanks for sharing.
I doubled the recipe and loved the outcome. I might lower the time in the oven but really they turned out great. I made another batch with pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and it also worked out really well. I did accidentally double the amount of sugar but it still works out and all the excess falls off the nuts when mixing them in the oven.ย
OMG so freaking good. The only thing I did differently was instead of water to the egg white mixture I put in vanilla extract. This is so good. I can see myself giving this away to family and friends during the holidays. I will definitely keep a batch for myself. Thank you thank you for such a wonderful recipe!
Really tasty recipe!!! The only thing is I wish they had a bit more of a crunch to them but the flavor is perfecr
These turned out so yummy. I used pecan pieces instead of halves to put on top of whip cream that I topped my sweet potato pie with. Just what I was looking for.
What quantity of pecans do you use?
It’s 2 1/4 cups pecan halves.
Absolutely wonderful! So crunchy and wonderful! I used vanilla extract instead of water, but everything else I did the exact way of the recipe. They were perfect!
Can the air fryer be used instead of the oven? ย
I haven’t tried these in the air fryer before, so I can’t attest to how they would turn out (or the temp/time ratio.) If you give it a shot, let me know how it turns out!
I literally canโt keep my hands out the pecan jar lol. So easy and good. Keeping this in my collection.
