Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies are a fun and unique way to feed the Oreo lover in you! They’re two cookies in one; what could be better than that?
Oreos, chocolate chips, a tall glass of milk; does it get any better?
I love these Oreo White Chocolate Chip Cookies and they pretty much disappear in an embarrassingly small amount of time at our house. I swear, I live with four human Cookie Monster clones, and I’m pretty monsterish myself when one of these delicious cookies is in front of me.
Ingredients for Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies
- butter
- brown sugar
- granulated sugar
- eggs
- vanilla extract
- all purpose flour
- salt
- baking soda
- Oreos
- chocolate chips
How to make Oreo Chocolate Chip Cookies – Step by Step
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or reusable baking mats.
- Blend together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla over medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- In a medium sized bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add the dry ingredients to butter/sugar mixture, beating over low speed. Scrape the bowl then beat over medium speed for another 30 seconds until well-combined.
- Using a rubber spatula or wooden spoon, stir in the chopped oreos and chocolate chips by hand. Roll the dought into balls (about 2 tablespoons each) and place on the prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake cookies about 10-12 minutes, then remove from oven and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack. Enjoy!
Tips and Notes
- I recommend lining your cookie sheets with either parchment paper or reusable silicone baking mats. I purchased a set from Costco a few years back and love them! They help your cookies bake evenly and prevent the dough from spreading too much. Here is a similar set of silicone mats on Amazon.
- These cookies are great with any variation of chocolate chips and Oreos you would like! I made this batch with white chocolate chips and regular Oreos, but they are also delicious with semi-sweet chocolate chips. I also love trying out the different flavors of Oreos, or the seasonal varieties. Whatever flavor you enjoy would work well here!

Holy moly these were incredible! We’re picky about our cookies and these were the perfect texture and balance of Oreo and chocolate chip. Thanks for the awesome recipe!
Hi there. Have you ever made these in advance and frozen the dough in the balls? If so, how did they turn out after cooked? I’d like to make in advance and freeze if they would turn out just as yummy…
Hi Linda, I freeze this dough a lot and it comes out great!
one of the best cookies I’ve ever made – really, really good. great combo of the chocolate chip dough and the crushed oreos. man, oh man, they are delicious.
my favorite cookie recipe i’ve ever made!!!
The cook time wasn’t long enough, by 10-12 minutes they were still doughy. I did 15-17 minutes and that worked a lot better. the flavor of the cookies are good! With a tablespoon of vanilla, I was thinking they would be super sweet but they were not at all. I didn’t add as many chocolate chips because I’m picky. These are a great, fast cookies!
I promise you won’t regret making these cookies. These cookies are by far my favorite to make. I do everything like the recipe says except I don’t add the chocolate chips so it’s no super sweet and they turn out perfect every single time. I make these same cookies almost every week and at least once a month. I highly suggest trying!
Oreos in cookies sounds great! This will be a hit for sure!
A cookie in a cookie what is not to love? Great recipe!
These would be dangerous to have in the house. I’d eat so many of them!
