Did you like the Hawaiian words I used there? Hawaii is so much apart of me now, I even speak some of the language.
I am obsessed with the little sweet peppers that you can buy in a bag from the store. Every time I make a Costco run, I pick up one of those big bags full of them and use them for all kinds of stuff.
They’re great in salads, sliced up to dip in hummus, chopped for all kinds of dinner recipes, and NOW…. you can stuff them with cheesy bacon goodness, too!
These Cheesy Bacon Stuffed Peppers are sooooo good. The filling is made with two kinds of cheese, bacon, green onions, Worcestershire sauce, and a little garlic powder.
Fill them up, bake them in the oven, then devour!
This recipe will make a dozen stuffed peppers, so if you’re feeding a crowd and want more than that, just double the recipe. Enjoy and have a great weekend, y’all!

I love these and making them was so easy and fun! I didn’t have Worcestershire sauce on hand so I skipped that and I used Everything Bagel Seasoning instead of garlic powder. So good!

Is the serving size for the nutrition facts half a pepper?
Love this recipe and so do my guests but had a few questions as I’m preparing to make again this weekend. At the start of the article it states this is made with 2 kinds of cheeses but the recipe only lists Cheddar. What is the other cheese you use? Also do you cook the bacon before hand, in the video it looks raw? Last Time I made this recipe I cooked beforehand. Thanks
Hi Tricia, the other cheese is the cream cheese. And yes, the bacon is cooked!
I can’t wait to try this recipe. Does it matter what type of cream cheese is used? The whipped type in the containers vs. the rectangle brick type?
Either one is fine! Enjoy!
The whipped may be too soft, I set my brick cream cheese out to let it soften.
I used whip cream cheese, still turned out lovely

Can I prep these the night before then cook in the over the next day?
I made these peppers tonight for Super Bowl Sunday. They were delicious. I forgot I needed bacon and didn’t have time to cook them so I substituted salad bacon bits (the soft kind, not the hard red ones).
Glad it worked out, Kristen! Thanks for sharing!
Does the type of cheddar cheese matter (sharp/mild)?
You can use whatever type you prefer!
Thank you!! My husband loved them. Me too!!! (Extra: I also added smoked paprika)
Yay! So glad to hear that!
Really great! I was looking for something to do with these.
