Air Fryer Green Beans
Air Fryer Green Beans are a delicious, healthy side dish. They come out tender, yet crisp and flavorful in the air fryer. It’s my favorite way to cook fresh green beans!

Roasted vegetables are my favorite, and these Air Fryer Green Beans come out perfectly crisp and tender in just under 10 minutes. They go perfectly with almost any meal like Shake and Bake Pork Chops or Blackened Mahi Mahi.
I like to keep the seasonings simple. Sometimes I’ll add a little parmesan cheese to my green beans when they’re done cooking, but that’s totally optional!

- lemon juice
- olive oil
- salt + pepper
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- fresh green beans
How to Cook Green Beans in the Air Fryer – Step by Step
Step 1: Preheat Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 370 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2: Mix ingredients
Stir the olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder together in a small bowl.
Step 3: Add green beans
Add the green beans to a large bowl. Pour the olive oil mixture over the top and and toss until fully combined.
Step 4: Air Fry
Add the beans to the the air fryer basket in an even layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway through.
Tips and Notes
- Preheat your air fryer. I like to preheat my air fryer for a few minutes before adding the food. This ensures that the proper temperature has been reached and that your veggies will cook up perfectly.
- Shake the basket a few times. This will help to ensure even cooking and that all surfaces of your green beans get equally crispy.
- Variations: this version uses a super simple seasoning blend, but feel free to cook your green beans with any other spices or blends you like.
- How to store: Any leftover green beans can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
